Born in Italy, raised in England, and resident in France, Luca Marchiori has recently come to rest in Paris, where he works as a freelance writer, editor, and teacher.

A native of Venice, Luca is the son of an Italian father and British mother. It was this mixed heritage that fostered his love of language, food, and travel, the three major influences in his life.

A graduate of the University of Manchester he has worked variously as a language teacher, Academic Manager, Project Manager, Teacher Trainer, Editor, and Publishing Manager, most notably with Oxford University Press and EF Education First.

He now writes and blogs about food and develops recipes. His first cookbook will be available shortly.
